Scripture Reading:                    Hebrews 11

Memory verse for the week:   Prov. 6:6

“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.”

Challenges are part of everyday living. It is often said that a life without a challenge only exist in the grave. Have you been doing everything possible to improve on your grades in school, but all your efforts seem fruitless? Your school fee of previous term is yet to be fully paid by your parents, yet another term is here. Sometimes, one feel the whole world is coming down; and God seems to be far away. Hold on, friend. Keep the faith!

The only life line of a believer is faith. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”.  ‘Sub + stand=Substance’. It means what you stand upon. What do you stand upon? Do you stand upon the Rock that never fails? Psalm 62:2, 6. The Bible says in Christ we live, we move and have our being. Acts 17:28. If you fail in the days of adversity, then your strength is small. Prov. 24:10.

Hi teen! Stop comparing yourself with another. We are all on a different track in the race of life. No two persons in the race of life have got the same pace. My speed in the race of life will most likely be different from yours and vice versa. Together at the end of the race, God expects us to say like Apostle Paul, “ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”2 Tim. 4:7.

…Go in this thy might… Judges 6:14.

ACTION WORD:       I WON’T GIVE UP!

PRAYER POINT:

  1. I run with wings as Eagles, I walk never to faint, in the name of Jesus.

Mountain of challenges, I crush you by faith today, in the name of Jesus
