Bible Reading: Matthew 7: 15-20,  2 Peter 2:1

Memory VerseFor false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect – Matthew 24:24 (NIV)

We are in the End times. Like it or not, false prophets and fake pastors will arise. Thirty-nine church members die after a ‘Pastor’ told them to starve to death if they want to meet Jesus. What a strange instruction, and the people willing obeyed. That’s ridiculous! The pastor has been arrested four years before this time in relation to the deaths of children.

Each time, he was released on bail, and both cases are still proceeding through the court. The police chief said that more shallow graves are yet to be dug up on the land belonging to this Pastor.

Have you thought for a minute what made the “Pastor’s” congregant followed him despite the weight of evidence uncovered initially? They have been hypnotised! A veil has been cast upon their heart and eyes. Moreover, this generation will do anything to get their problem solved, unfortunately by whatever method. Please be warned.

Signs and wonders are happening in a particular place and people are getting their healing and deliverance. That’s fine. But in whose name? There are churches that call the name of God in the morning but are covens at night. We need to be more vigilant and discerning.

A man who hardly calls the name of Jesus is walking in signs and wonders, and you are not afraid. Extra-biblical practices such as bathing in rivers, incessant use of fruits, etc, are the order of the day, and you are not careful. Be warned before your problem become substituted for a bigger one in the future.

The acid test of anyone who calls the name of the Lord is the fruit they bear. What is the attitude of your Man of God towards holiness, righteousness, death to the work of the flesh, genuine salvation, heaven, etc.? The congregant of a ‘Pastor’ who hardly preaches a good message but concentrates only on sharing testimonies every Sunday should be warned.

Be careful, dearly beloved. Know God for yourself and your life will be a citadel of everyday miracle instead of moving everywhere you hear it is ‘happening’. There is more than meets the eye.

Quote:  By their fruits we shall know them – Matthew 7:15
