Bible Reading: Numbers 13:17-33
Memory Verse: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
“Having no fear of those who are against you; which is a clear sign of their destruction, but of your salvationc fear of tomorrow. Many are afraid of the host of darkness. Listen: You are seated in Christ Jesus far above all principalities and powers. Your Father is the head of all principalities and powers. Why should you fear?
Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. Fear has been acronymed: False Experience Appearing Real. Phobia is another word for fear. Fear is not only a negative emotion, the Bible tag it an evil spirit (2 Timothy 1:7). God said “fear not” 365 times in the Bible. This means that for each day of your life, there’s nothing to fear. The Bible recommends a “fear not” antibiotic capsule for everyone every day.
Fear has paralyzed the noble ambitions of many. Fear has crippled, maimed or killed ideas, innovations, and inventions of many. Such ideas or innovations become rotten in the heart of her victims because they are so afraid of the unknown and dread to take a step.
Imagine if the Wright Brothers who invented the Aeroplane were too afraid to start up. Their glory could have gone unsung. What about Albeit Einstein, the man who invented the Electric bulb. He wasn’t afraid to make 999 unsuccessful attempts before he bacame successful.
Quote: Courage is not absence but mastery of fear.
Prophetic Word: Let the caterpillar of heaven bulldoze fear away from your heart, in Jesus name.
