Bible Reading:  Psalm 91: 1-16

Memory Verse:  Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened. 1 Peter 3:14b (NIV)

One acronym to fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. Fear is a torment. Fear could be sponsored by an evil spirit. The opposite of fear is faith.

Q: Sir, but shouldn’t I say the truth about my situation?

A: What is true outside the counsel of God for your life? If you keep saying what you’re seeing, you will keep seeing what you’re saying. As a Christian, you are not of this world. Your situation is first determined by what is settled in the Word of God, and not in your World. Say only what the Word of God says. Words are seeds. If you must change your harvest, you must change your seeds.

Another Entrance of Fear include:

1. Lifting evil dreams and prophecies above God’s Word:  Some people say: “Any dream I have on Thursday come to pass”. “You see, my mother’s dreams always come to pass”. “That prophet is very powerful, what he says comes to pass”. The prophecy could be accurate, but by which spirit? The Spirit of God or the spirit of the devil? You remember the woman with a python spirit and Apostle Paul in Acts 16: 16-18? Any prophecy or dream that inflicts fear should be cancelled by the power in the Blood of Jesus. Thank God for the various revelations from various quarters, but your case is different. You are standing on the Word of God and as such, anything contrary to your well being can be overturned. What Jesus says concerning you is the only sure Word that never fails. This is the reason why you need to feed yourself DAILY with the Word of God. Refuse to live in the cage of fear others constructed for you. Your soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowler. The snare is broken and you are escaped. Joshua and Caleb refused to allow what they saw and heard conflict with their faith. Faith is evidence of things not seen.

Quote: Each of us must confront our own fears; come face to face with them.

Prophetic Decree:  Evil dreams and evil prophecies, go back to your sender, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Today marks the end of the grip of evil dreams and prophecies in my life, in Jesus name.

2. I come out of self inflicted snare of the fowler, in Jesus name.

3. I receive the gift of faith in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace to grow my faith, in season and out of season, in Jesus name.

5. I silence the aura of any evil spirit as a result of demonic prophecies hovering over my head, in Jesus name.
