Bible Reading: Proverbs 21:20

Memory Verse:  Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. Proverbs 13:11 (KJV)

Many people think the person who earns the biggest salary is automatically the richest person in the room. But real life shows that this is not always true.

Imagine two people. One earns a very large income every month. The other earns much less. At first glance, you would assume the person with the bigger paycheck is the wealthy one.

But look closer.

The first person spends everything he earns. He drives the latest car, lives in an expensive house, and takes luxury vacations. From the outside, he looks successful. But at the end of the month, little or nothing remains. His income is high, but his savings are empty.

The second person earns less, but he practices wisdom. Instead of spending everything, he saves a portion. He invests in real estate, and in proven stocks and shares that have generated returns for many years. Year after year, those small decisions begin to grow into something meaningful.

After some time, the one who earned less may actually become the wealthier person.

This teaches a simple but powerful truth: income is what you earn, but wealth is what you keep.

Many people focus on increasing their income but ignore the discipline of managing what they already have. Without wisdom, a large income can disappear quickly. But with discipline, even a modest income can grow into lasting financial stability.

Scripture repeatedly praises stewardship. God is not only interested in how much we receive, but also in how faithful we manage what passes through our hands.

In life, there are people who look rich, and there are people who become wealthy over time. The difference is often not how much they earn, but how wise they handle what they earn.

Question: Am I only focused on making money, or am I also learning the wisdom of keeping, saving, and investing what God places in my hands?

Prayer Focus 

1. Lord, please teach me the discipline of wise stewardship. 

2. Lord, please help me not only to earn, but to manage resources with wisdom so that what You place in my hands can grow and become a blessing. 

3. Demonic caterpillars assigned against the works of my hands, die, in Jesus name. 

4. Spirit of Midianites attacking my labour, be buried in the Red Sea, in Jesus name. 

5. I receive power to make, manage, and multiply money, in Jesus name.
