Bible Reading: Isaiah 43: 18-19

Memory Verse:  So that if any one is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old state of things has passed away; a new state of things has come into existence. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (WNT)

Mistakes is from the two root words, ‘miss’ and ‘take’ i.e. miss-take. That means if you “miss a take”, then the next thing to do is to ‘re-take’ what was missed, and move on. Yes, I know you made a mistake in decision making and the business went bad. What next? Learn from your mistakes and have a go for another business. The downfall of a man is not the end of the world.

Your ministry got ruined due to leadership mistakes. Now, several years as past, won’t you start again? Sir, God has long forgiven you, you need to forgive yourself. Many times, it is easier for God to forgive us than for us to forgive ourselves. This is another definition of pride.

You made some mistakes as a young man or as a student. But should one mistake cause you to pack the vehicle of your destiny indefinitely at the garbage bin of life irreparably? Please don’t be too hard on yourself. Don’t allow the devil play on your mind. Many people did worse things, came to God in sincerity and brokenness, and He gave them a fresh start to fulfill their destinies in a grand way. You remember Saul of Tarsus who later became Paul the Apostle?

Listen to this: If milk gets bad, it becomes yoghurt. Yoghurt is more valuable than milk. If it gets even worse, it turns to cheese. Cheese is more valuable than both yoghurt and milk. And if grape juice turns sour, it transforms into wine, which is even more expensive than grape juice. You are not bad because you made mistakes.

Mistakes are the experiences that make you more valuable as a person. Christopher Columbus made a navigational error that made him discover America. Alexander Fleming’s mistake led him to invent Penicillin. Don’t let your mistakes get you down. It is not practice that makes perfect. It is mistakes we learn from that makes perfect! Don’t be scared of mistakes. More bigger steps ahead. Just keep going.

QuoteThe only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing – Henry Ford.

Prophetic Decree: I command your mistakes to turn around for a miracle, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I break the backbone of unpardonable mistakes sponsored by my foundation, in Jesus name.

2. I receive wisdom to navigate mistakes, in Jesus name.

3. Miracles that will shock my world shall proceed from my mistakes, in Jesus name.

4. I come against the arrow of mistake and error targeted at delaying my emergence and destiny journey, in Jesus name.

5. Arrow of mistake on target to delay my rising, backfire, in Jesus name.

SEEING BEYOND THE SURFACE

Many pay attention to what is happening rather than what is going on. One of the greatest challenges in life and destiny is the temptation to focus only on what is happening i.e. the immediate, visible, noisy events around us while failing to discern what is really going on...

A man broke the internet as he explained the step-by-step process of how he gained admission into the University after he couldn’t continue his education from JSS3. He said: From JSS3 straight to the University. After JSS3, I couldn’t further my education due to certain issues...
