Many especially youths are looking for a short cut to success. While some indulge in shady businesses, others go into ritual money. Recently, it was alleged that a 300 level University undergraduate killed his girlfriend popping out her eyes and other sensitive body parts for ritual killing. 16-19 year olds are doing abominable things. People swallow serpent and gourd, while others sleep with their own mother all because of money. The Bible is true: The way of the transgressor is hard (Prov.13:15b).
Iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold (Mat. 24:12). Verily, Verily I say unto you, except a man follow God’s perfect plan for his life, his struggles continue. Mind you, money does not always bring fulfillment. Fulfillment is almost at every time connected to following God’s plan for your life. How then do you know God’s prefect plan for your life? It all starts with a daily relationship with Jesus at the feet of the Cross of Calvary. Then, as you grow in Him, you begin to understand His perfect plan for your life.
God, like any other manufacturer who produce, created you. Hence, He alone has the blue print (instruction manual) for your life, and subsequently, how best you can function well. It is often said that a man should follow his passions. Beloved, this is not always true. Proverbs 20:24 (BST) says, “A man’s goings are directed of the Lord: how then can a mortal understand his ways?” Hear me friend: The moment you discover God’s perfect will for your life and you choose to pursue it, your true passion comes alive.
Don’t forget that God’s perfect plan for your life many times are not pleasing to your flesh. The other time, a school Principal cried to God for a financial lifting. God instructed her to go sell vegetables. That’s unpleasant to the flesh, right? There, her millions emerged. Again, many years ago, a Pastor Sam Adeyemi went to meet his father in the Lord because he wanted to travel in search for a greener pasture. He took offence when his father in the Lord discouraged him. He reluctantly obeyed anyway. He stuck to his assignment, and today, in his native country of Nigeria and beyond, he has become a global voice as a leadership and success coach. Everything you need is inside God’s plan for your life, be it fame, prestige, money, respect, connection, affluence, influence, etc. Wouldn’t you rather surrender your life to Jesus right now and sign up in His school of discipleship? Trust His leading.

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father for owning me.
2. I repent of anyway I have gone my own way, in Jesus name.
3. Help me Father to relinquish my will for your own will all the days of my life, in Jesus name.
4. O Lord, choke every desire of the flesh in me, in Jesus name.
5. I break the grip of unfriendly friends around me, in Jesus name.
6. O Lord, show me the content of the volume of books written concerning me, and help me to walk accordingly, in Jesus name.
