Scripture Reading:  Mat. 21:18-22.

Memory verse for the week: Isaiah 53:5

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” (NKJV)

I studied through the scripture to understand Jesus’ principle as it concerns healing. I keep seeing that the faith of the people in concern provoked the healing virtue in Jesus. For example, the healing of the Centurion’s servant, Mat. 8:10, and the leper, Mat. 8:2 etc. Hence, a need to study this all important topic: How do I generate faith for my healing?

First, we must realize that healing is children’s meat. As a child of God, you have a right to enjoy not just divine healing, but also divine health. God has promised those who believe that they shall have none of the diseases of the Egyptians. Exo.23:25

Secondly, faith comes by hearing; hearing by the Word of God. You need to expose yourself to words of faith. The Bible, especially the Gospel books, Christian literatures on faith & divine healing; testimonies of brethren who got healed by faith in God etc, will be very beneficial to grow your own personal faith. This is very important. We are what we hear and see! Rev 12:11.

Thirdly, you must confess what you believe. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Silence is consent in spiritual warfare. Speak it loud, beloved. Confess the words of healing with your mouth. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom 10:10 (NKJV)

Fourthly, doubt not! So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. Mat. 21:21(NKJV)

Furthermore, act it! Faith is an action word. Faith is a ‘do-ing word’! Why should malaria keep you on the bed? Get up and walk out of that room. Pain in that arm? Begin to use it gradually to do what initially you couldn’t do.

I see you walking in divine health!

ACTION WORD: BELIEVE IT, SAY IT, & DO IT!

PRAYER POINT:

  1. I confess with my mouth, I am healed of (mention your ailment) in the name of Jesus.
  2. Any evil spirit in charge of (mention your ailment), come out by fire, in the name of Jesus.
