Bible Reading: Isaiah 60:1, 11-13,  1 Cor. 15: 40 – 41

Memory Verse: There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.1 Cor. 15:41 (NKJV)

Glory is from the Latin word Gloria. It means fame or renown. It describes the distinguishing attributes or characteristics of a person or thing. For example, the glory of a peacock is in her many colors. When it flaunts its feathers, it reveals the glory of God in it. The glory of the sun produces light during the day and the glory of the moon gives light at night.

The glory of God refers to the manifestation of God’s presence. The glory of God was upon the children of Israel in the day as a pillar of cloud and at night as a pillar of fire. The glory of God upon Solomon distinguished him as a man of great wisdom. This same glory upon Daniel manifested as an excellent spirit. The glory of God upon Gideon made him a mighty man of valour.

When the glory of God departed from Israel, they cried “Ichabod”! Spiritually, your head is the symbol of your glory. An attack against your head in the dream should not be taken with levity. The barbing of one’s hair in the dream, placing of an evil hand upon one’s head in the dream, stolen wedding gown, etc, are all signs of witchcraft manipulations against one’s glory.

Quote:  Your glory symbolizes your uniqueness. Guard it jealously.

Prophetic Decree: Every attack against your glory sponsored by your foundation is cancelled by the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

Repent and confess all your sins. Then, plead the Blood of Jesus seven times before praying these prayers.

  1. I silence by the authority of the Almighty every evil cry against my glory, in Jesus name.
  2. I bury ancestral strongman standing against my glory, in Jesus name.
  3. Curses and covenants of limitation and family embargo, yoked upon my neck, break by fire, in Jesus name.
  4. Association of witchcraft powers standing against my glory, scatter by fire, in Jesus name.
  5. By the covenant of the sun that cannot be quenched, the light of my glory shall not go out, in Jesus name.
