Memory Verse: My plans aren’t your plans, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. Isaiah 55:8-10 (CEB)
Are you desirous of the perfect plan of God for your life? I’m sure your answer is Yes. Okay! What if the perfect plan of God for your life is for you to leave your high paying job and become a missionary even as you trust God for your daily bread? Don’t forget you have lofty dreams of your children going to the best schools, weekend spending spree in shopping malls, building your own house, etc.
My brother, the perfect will of God many a times does not make any sense at the beginning, however, it will turn around to give you more than you bargained for at the end. The vision does not usually speak glory in the beginning but at the end. If you decide to go your own way in the beginning of your life, you will end in your own ditch at the end of your life. It is high time you come under the yoke of God’s sovereign government in the days of your youth. Many do not want to pass through legitimate pain. Many detest words such as process, precepts, divine instructions, circumcision, absolute surrenderness, burden, yoke, etc.
They want to arrive as a superstar just from the blues. What took your fathers 35 years of serious hard work and consistency to build, they want to have it in one single year! It doesn’t work that way. In this kingdom, no one jumps to the top suddenly. There is a rung of ladder that must be meticulously climbed, one step before another, learning adequate lessons. There are milestones in our spiritual experiences. You need to build capacity for the various dreams and visions God may be showing you. Endure the process. Brethren, glory has weight. There is a weight attached to God’s glory coming upon your life.
It is not enough for the glory of God to come upon your life, it is more important that you have the spiritual, mental, emotional and psychological capacity to carry it. Hence, that is why God passes men through a measure of training (pain and hard drilling) before his glory comes upon their lives. Don’t despise legitimate pain in the school of the Almighty. They are for your own making. SOMETIMES, some of the things we call delay is just God out of His great compassion and love towards us, He carefully kept on our way to mature us before presenting us to our generation. Please understand this. God will never present a man to his generation until he is well fortified in character and anointing. Mighty men have fallen. May you not be numbered amongst them. Dare to observe and follow God’s plan for your life. That’s all you will ever need.

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father for your commitment in making me become more and more like You, in Jesus name.
2. I surrender my love, my heart, my ways, my ambitions and my purpose to You, O Lord.
3. I rebuke any resistance in my flesh, in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace to follow the Lord whether it is comfortable for me or not, in Jesus name.
5. O Lord, I am in your hands, do to me as it seems right to You, in Jesus name.
