Bible Reading:  1 Peter 3:3-4.

Memory Verse: For you were bought at a price; therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:20 (NKJV)

Beloved, I hope you know that your head and hair is the spiritual symbol of your glory. That is the reason you should be very careful how you style your hair. If you’ve ever had a dream where your hair was cut, or mysterious was done to it, urgently seek the help of your Pastor because that is a bad spiritual omen.

Beloved I want you to know that God makes no mistakes because He is a perfect God. The texture and length of hair He gave to the Europeans, Asians, Africans, etc. are peculiar to their climate. The Whites have long silken hair because of their extremely cold weather to provide warmth for their head.

That answers the question why your hair isn’t as long as the movie or tv star, whom you love so much. Be contented with your hair type designed by God to suite your environment. Blacks in this part of the world, who try to imitate the white ladies hair do, end up becoming very uncomfortable. You see them hitting their head with their hands on the street or in vehicles because of the itching caused by the scorching sun.

Do you know?  In the midst of mayhem, lots of guys got into trouble with the police and were arrested as suspect because of their weird haircut? The choice of your hair style is speaking inaudibly you like it or not. Keep your hairstyle simple to God’s glory.

Action Word:  Strip yourself of any hairstyle not pointing to Christ.

Prayer Point

  1. Father, have mercy on me for not giving you glory with my hairstyles in the past in Jesus name. Amen.
  2. Father give me the grace to glorify you with my hairstyle, in Jesus name. Amen.
