DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post November

Tuesday, 15th November, 2016.

Bible Reading:  Romans 12:1-2.

Memory Verse: And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 (NKJV).

Why bother me about my lifestyle when the Bible says “do not judge”, someone may ask. Why bother me about my lifestyle when notable Pastors with a worldwide ministry also ‘palm’ their hair yet, signs and wonders follow their ministration?

First, nobody is judging you. Nevertheless, the Bible admonishes us to correct one another in love. See 1 Timothy 5:20 & 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Secondly, get this straight – anyone can be wrong! – be it your Pastor, Reverend, Bishop, G.O, Superintendent etc. Else, we must, by the Spirit of God, search the Scriptures for ourselves and hold on to the truth (Acts 17:11).

“On judgment day many will say to Jesus, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But Jesus will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.” Matthew 7:22-23 (NLT)

The manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit has never been the condition of making heaven but the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23). Do not be deceived.

Can I encourage you to do away with those weird hairstyles? It may surprise you know that some of these things called style, fashion, vogue or trend are sponsored by marine powers from inside the oceans. Be warned before you become a deliverance candidate!

Key Point:  Flee from worldly hair style.

Prayer Point:Lay your right hand on your head & your left hand on your belly button as you say this:

  1. I reject the madness of this world, in the name of Jesus name.
  2. Like Daniel, I refuse to be tossed to & fro by the various messages the devil is bringing via the internet, music, cartoons, wrestling or video game, in the name of Jesus.
