Scripture Reading:                    Heb 5:14.

Memory verse for the week:   Heb 1:1-2

Long ago God spoke to the fathers by the prophets at different times and in different ways. In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made the universe through Him. (HCS)

  1. You must be a sheep of the Lord. John 10:27:“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”. This means you must be born again.
  • Invite the Holy Spirit in all that you do. Prov.3: 6. “…In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
  • Make up your mind that you will never do anything without involving the Holy Spirit. Then, He becomes absolutely committed to speaking to you always.
  • The Holy Spirit speaks to the spirit of man. Prov. 20:27
  • The Holy Spirit will never say anything against or outside the Bible. John 16:13.
  • The devil can also imitate thereby counterfeiting the various ways by which God speaks to his children. Beware!! 2 Cor. 11:14 “And it is no wonder; for even Satan himself is able to take the form of an angel of light.” (BBE)

ACTION WORD:       THE HOLY SPIRIT, MY BEST FRIEND.

PRAYER POINT:

  1. I desire a very close relationship with you, the Spirit of God; show me your ways, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Any barrier or obstacle in my life preventing the Holy Spirit from being my best friend, scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.
