Bible Reading: Matthew 19:26

Memory VerseFor as he thinks within himself, so is he. Proverbs 23:7a (TPT)

What challenges are you facing in life that seems unsurmountable? Be encouraged by these testimonies and get fired up; and defy all odds to fulfil your God-given destiny.

1. Linda and Timmy are the names of the mother-son duo who prove that limitations only exist in our minds. Both were born with Holt-Oram syndrome, a rare genetic condition that left them without arms. But here’s what makes their story extraordinary: They’ve NEVER used prosthetics. Instead, they’ve mastered using their feet for everything – writing, brushing teeth, getting dressed, and living fully independent lives. Linda even earned a college degree in elementary education, while 11-year-old Timmy tackles everyday challenges with the same determination as his mom. “I never saw myself as significantly different growing up,” says Linda, now 37. This mother and son, part of the 1-in-100,000 people with this condition, remind us of something powerful: it’s not our physical limitations that define what’s possible – it’s our determination and mindset. So, next time you’re facing a challenge that seems impossible remember Linda and Timmy, who redefine what’s possible every single day.

2. The 7/7 survivor who became a champion volleyball star: In 2005, Martine Wright lost both her legs in the 7/7 terrorist attack at Aldgate tube station. She started taking part in wheelchair basketball games as part of her rehab before switching to sitting volleyball. She made her debut as a Paralympian in 2010, and hopes to become an ambassador for disabled sports. When asked the secret of her success, she said, “What I realised from a very early stage is that so many people out there are worse off than me.”

3. The man who scaled Everest despite being blind: Scaling Mount Everest is hard enough, let alone without the use of sight, but that’s exactly what Erik Weihenmayer did climbing the summit in 2001. Thanks to technology which translated images from a camera into vibrations on the tip of his tongue, allowing him to sense what was around him, he is still the only blind person to ever complete one of Earth’s greatest challenges. The secret to Erik’s success: “What’s within you is stronger than what’s in your way,” he says.

QuoteIt may be difficult, but it is never impossible.

Prophetic Decree: Receive the anointing to break limitations and work through oppositions triumphantly, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Lord, I’m sorry for moaning and complaining over my situation, challenges, and disability.

2. Anointing to break limitations, overshadow my life, in Jesus name.

3. My Father, today, convert my barren land to fruitful garden, in Jesus name.

4. I receive divine enablement to convert my tests (problems) to testimonies, in Jesus name.

5. Sing the song: “What the enemy taught for evil, God has turned it around for my good”.

YOU NEED THE POWER OF GOD (2)

Christianity is not an intellectual religion but a demonstration of divine life. Power authenticates your claim of intimacy with God. Without it, your message is theory. 1 Corinthians 4:20 says, “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” Today, let's look at the subject of power from three other...
