Bible Reading: John 1: 1-3

Memory VersePleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)

1. On mistakes: Even our mistakes doesn’t shock God because He’s made allowances for them. However, we must grow above such mistakes.

2. On work management: Nothing is particularly hard if you break it down into small jobs – Henry Ford.

3. On God’s process:  Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, be strong and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.

4. On purposeful pain: God has a purpose for your pain, a reason for your struggles, and a reward for your faithfulness. Don’t give up.

5.  On marriage: When the fire of misunderstanding wants  to  engulf   your   marriage, you have  two  options:  To  fuel it  or  to  quench  it  –                            From   the   film   “Fire Extinguisher” by Shola Mike-Agboola.

6. On capacity building: If you don’t have capacity, your success could be limited even when your destiny is great – Rev Olusola Areogun

7. On attitude: Attitude is more important than facts – Pastor Sam Adeyemi

8. On helping others: Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them – Dalai Lama XIV.

9. On the presence of God: There is greater rest and solace to be found in the presence of God for one hour, than in an eternity of the presence of man – Robert Murray McCheyne.

10. On offence: Offence is not a call to abandon God’s work, but a call to go higher in spiritual maturity – Rev. Ntia Ntia.

11. On career- life balance:  Don’t confuse having a career with having a life – H. Clinton.

12. On failure: You are not a failure until you accept you are one – Dr. D.K. Olukoya

13. On worrying:  Worrying about  things  will  go wrong  will  increase  the  chances  that  it  will  go wrong –  Dr. D.K. Olukoya

14. On human stoppage: No matter how they try, human beings can only stop you temporary. Only you can stop yourself permanently –  Dr. D.K. Olukoya

15. On obedience: When you obey because it is convenient, it’s called cooperation. When you obey when it is not convenient, it is called submission –  Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

Prophetic Decree: Enter into your season of rest, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father for the power you have invested in your words.

2. By your words that breaks the cedar of lebanon, break every stubborn situation in my life, in Jesus name.

3. My life shall not lack a word in season, in Jesus name.

4. Send your words O Lord, and heal my infirmities, in Jesus name.

5. The glory of the latter house, my life is available, in the name of Jesus.
