Bible Reading: Psalm 19: 7-11

Memory Verse: … And in keeping them there is great reward. Psalm 19:11b (NKJV)

An anonymous shared a testimony that is worth reading: After I finished from University, the Lord laid it strongly in my heart to teach in a primary school beside the house where I lived. It was a very tough instruction to follow, but I knew it was the Lord’s instruction, so I followed. I took the apex class of the school. You will need to bury your pride to obey God. One of those days in school, I stepped out to get some things during lunch break, on getting back to school, I met the staff laughing out loud about something.

I was told that one of my students was asked to bring something from my table and he declined saying “uncle’s table is hot”. The staff went on to tell another student to get it for him and he said the same thing. Eventually no one was willing to go close to the table and they considered it funny. I went back to my class and asked my student what they meant by that statement, then they began sharing their encounters with God’s glory in the class.

They narrated how that many times they come close to the table to submit their books, they usually feel something very strange that makes their hair stand as they approach the table, then I began teaching them about the Holy Spirit and his manifest presence. Severally in class, after teaching them about God’s presence, while writing on the board for them, I will suddenly know that the glory had descended, and without saying a word, sometimes I’d see them all collectively worshipping and sometimes sobbing. It was class unusual.

All these children got saved and baptised in the Holy Ghost before I left the school. Don’t despise any of God’s instruction this season, don’t be fleshy about it, if he is giving you an outreach ministry towards secondary school students, don’t trivialize it, don’t see it as insignificant, don’t leave his instructions to face shadows. Majority of my students whom I used to minister to in secondary schools then are now fellowship presidents, joint Christian campus fellowship presidents, leaders of ministries, etc. Then I thought I was probably wasting my time, but when I see them now, my joy gets filled. Beloved, this season, don’t joke with any divine instruction, be very sensitive to God’s move per time, and be diligent with his bidding.

Quote:  Instructions Prevent Destruction.

Prophetic Decree:  Receive a heart to obey promptly and diligently, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive the willingness and the grace to obey, in Jesus name.

2. O Lord, please help me to understand your prompting and bidding, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to understand the verbal and non-verbal speaking of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name.

4. O Lord, please make me a mobile carrier of your presence everywhere i go, in Jesus name.

5. Like Jeremiah, Holy Spirit, make your instructions fire in my bones, in Jesus name (Jeremiah 20:9).

6. Decree: I refuse to leave an ordinary life. I refuse to live a life devoid of the tangible power of God, in Jesus name.
