Bible Reading: Esther 2: 15–17

Memory VerseI celebrate and shout because of my LORD God. His saving power and justice are the very clothes I wear. They are more beautiful than the jewelry worn by a bride or groomIsaiah 61:10 (CEV)

Friends, spiritual commodity such as favour can be imparted. Should you believe in the carrier of this grace called favour, you will drink from the same well. This leads us to the fifth key to activating favour which is the Esther’s Anointing.

5. THE ESTHER ANOINTING: This is the mantle of attraction and access. The “Esther’s Anointing” is a spiritual grace that makes people love, accept, and promote you beyond logic. Esther 2:15–17 says, “And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her… and the king loved Esther above all the women… and he set the royal crown upon her head.”

A. What Is It? The Esther Anointing is not beauty or charm. It is supernatural acceptance and royal favour. It causes people of influence (kings, gatekeepers, mentors, employers, examiners, destiny helpers) to delight in you and choose you for positions you don’t “qualify” for naturally. Apostle Selman often describes it as “a grace that edits men’s perceptions of you”. It makes hearts warm toward you, conversations go in your favour, and doors open “unreasonably fast.”

B. How It Works

i. Spiritual Clothing: Just as Esther was clothed with royal garments before seeing the king, the believer must wear “garments of righteousness and praise” (Isaiah 61:10). Prayer, purity, and purpose are the fabrics of this anointing.

ii. Preparation and Purification: Esther went through months of preparation (Esther 2:12). This means developing capacity, character, and emotional intelligence. Favour without preparation ruins men.

iii. Alignment with Divine Timing: Esther didn’t rush into the king’s presence; she moved when led. Similarly, the favour anointing works best when you discern divine timing through prayer.

iv. Purpose-driven Favour: The favour on Esther wasn’t for luxury, it was to preserve a nation. God releases this kind of favour when your heart is set on kingdom advancement, not self-glorification.

C. Signs You Carry the Esther Anointing

i. People speak well of you in rooms you’ve never entered.

ii. Recommendations, appointments, and unexpected kindness follows you.

iii. You receive access to authority and influence for divine purposes.

iv. Systems and structures bend to help your assignment.

D. How to Receive It

i. Desire it genuinely for God’s glory.

ii. Honour carriers of that grace: Impartation often flows through honour.

iii. Engage in consistent prayer and fasting (spiritual alignment).

iv. Maintain purity, humility, and gratitude.

v. Serve faithfully in your current sphere. Esther was serving before she was selected.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive a heart of humility to receive my Mordecai, Hegai (Esther 2:9-11), Hathach (Esther 4: 5-10) – the palace officials who will prepare and instruct me, in Jesus name.

2. After the order of Esther, Holy Spirit, please anoint me with your Oil of favour, in Jesus name.

3. My Father, put your garment of favour upon me today, in Jesus name.

4. Anointing of favour, herald my name in the corridor of power to the glory of the Lord.

5. On the day a sensitive decision is going to be made, may the anointing of favour cause men to take special delight in me, and shut down the mouth of adversaries, in Jesus name.

THREE THINGS YOU MUST CONQUER

Life is not just about what you achieve, it’s about what you master. Before God can trust you with influence, impact, or increase, He watches how well you can govern yourself. It was Apostle Arome Osayi who said: "The first thing that a young adult must be exposed to is mastery over appetite...
