Bible Reading: Proverbs 11: 24-25

Memory Verse:  God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humbleJames 4:6 (NIV)

Kingdom currencies are spiritual principles God uses as mediums of exchange to release His blessings, open doors, and advance His purposes. Others include:

7. Giving — Currency of Supply and Harvest Principle: In God’s Kingdom, giving triggers divine supply, open heavens, and multiplication. What you release becomes a seed that produces a harvest. Luke 6:38 (NIV), “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.”

Practical Example: A Christian businessman sacrificially gives to support missions. As a result, God opens unexpected international partnerships that grew his business far beyond his ability.

8. Time — Currency of Prioritisation and Investment: How you invest your time shows your values and invites God’s involvement. Dedicating time for God positions you for divine guidance, wisdom, and favour. Matthew 6:33 (NIV), “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Practical Example: A student prioritises morning devotionals before studies. Over time, they experience unusual retention, favour with lecturers, and exceptional academic success, not by effort alone, but by grace.

9. Favour — Currency of Access and Acceleration: Favour is God raising men to help you. It opens doors that hard work alone cannot open, giving you access to opportunities you don’t qualify for naturally. Psalm 5:12 (NIV), “Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favour as with a shield.”

Practical Example: Joseph, though a prisoner, found favour with Pharaoh and was promoted to second-in-command in Egypt (Genesis 41). His skills alone didn’t do it — favour did.

10. Meekness — Currency of Divine Promotion and Guidance: Meekness is controlled strength and teachability. It attracts God’s guidance and promotes a man in due season. God resists the proud but lifts the humble. Psalm 25:9 (NIV), “He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.”

Practical Example: A young pastor remains teachable under his spiritual father, even when he has his own ideas. In time, God raises him into a global ministry platform, opening doors far beyond his preparation.

QuoteIf the only thing you have is money, then you are poor.
