Bible Reading: Proverbs 23:23

Memory Verse: Truth, wisdom, learning, and good sense–these are worth paying for, but too valuable for you to sell. Proverbs 23:23 (GNT)

1. On kingdom service: In the Kingdom of God, service is not a stepping-stone to nobility: it is nobility, the only kind of nobility that is recognized – T.W. Manson

2. On opposition: If you have no opposition in the place you serve, you’re serving in the wrong place – G. Campbell Morgan

3. On good works: Good duties must not be pressed and beaten out of us, as the waters came out of a rock when Moses smote it with his rod; but must freely drop from us, as myrrh from the tree, or honey from the comb – Thomas Watson.

4. On worrying:  Worrying is not making it better. Living stressed is not helping. God said if you’ll make a switch, if you’ll keep your mind stayed on Him, if you’ll think positive, hopeful, faith-filled thoughts, then He’ll give you peace in the midst of the problem – Pastor Joel Osteen.

5. On divine test: The size of the test shows the measure of the harvest coming your way, but you have to pass the test. The test of love, the test of obedience to the voice of God asking you to sacrifice in your love for God and/or your fellow man. God will demand something unusual which will open the door – Pastor Poju Oyemade.

6. On assisting wounded Christian soldiers: When we fail to assist our wounded soldiers, we make ourselves easy preys; and that won’t make other soldiers speak out or seek help – From the Gospel film Mandown by Wole Olukoju.

7. On argument: Arguments don’t improve the validity of a ‘truth;’ they only determine how long it would take before you realise it.

8. On bad attitude: A bad attitude is like a flat tire. Your destiny can’t go anywhere until you change it.

9. On humble: The only way to humble barrier, limitations and constraints is to change the rules of the game – Pastor George Izunwa.

10. On praising God: The greater your knowledge of the goodness and grace of God on your life, the more likely you are to praise Him in the storm – Matt Chandler

11. On character: God has a purpose behind every problem. He uses circumstances to develop our character – Rick Warren

12. On Faith: Never underestimate the power of faith because when nothing seems possible, faith makes it possible ― Gift Gugu Mona.

Prophetic Decree: After the order of King Jesus, grow in divine wisdom, stature and favour with God and man, in Jesus name (Luke 2:52)

POWER FOR HONOURABLE CONNECTION (2)

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...
