Bible Reading: Psalm 105: 19-22

Memory Verse: You plotted evil against me, but God turned it into good, in order to preserve the lives of many people who are alive today because of what happened. Genesis 50:20 (GNT)

When the Baboons and Monkeys heard that the Man who used to chase them away from the maize field had died, they hysterically celebrated but by the following year, there was no maize. That was when they painfully realized that the dead man was the farmer! Under all conditions, learn to live peacefully with your enemies. Luke 6:27, “But I say unto you which hear,  Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you…” You might reject them now but, soon, you will realize that they were the only pillars you needed. Not all enemies are enemies. Some are facilitators or unofficial coaches assigned to get you into shape. Others are imaginary haters. Let us love one another despite our differences.

You see, in this life, things don’t always appear as they seem. Your presumed enemy may actually be your destiny helper in the most unusual form. Who could have given Joseph a free ticket into Egypt if his brothers hadn’t sold him to slavery? The wisdom and capacity that flowed out from his life afterwards showed that he was well made by the grueling process his supposed “enemy-brothers” subjected him.

That boss that looked at you in the face and said you will never be promoted was perhaps the same person that pushed you to prayers, and God used that season to work patience in you. Did you notice that something miraculously happened as soon as your fingers were trained to war, and your hands to fight? That’s it! Learn the divine lessons and your promotion becomes automatic.

Quote: Things don’t always appear as they seem.

Prophetic Decree: I see everything work together for your good, in Jesus mighty name.

Prayer Focus

1. I receive grace to discern times and seasons, in Jesus name.

2. I receive grace to discern my real enemies, in Jesus name.

3. O Lord, help me to understand your mind in every situation that comes my way, in Jesus name.

4. I will not lose my composure and my faith as God passes me through His refiner’s fire, in Jesus name.

5. I will not turn my enemies to friends and my friends to enemies, in Jesus name.
