Memory Verse: He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21 (NLT)

Do you love to laugh? My friends often say there’s always a characteristic smile on my face. It is amazing to know that God laughs (Psalms 2:4). One of our fathers in the lord became a General Overseer at a time when it was believed that Christians should always “be very serious so that they won’t lose their holiness”. Interesting!! But, he always find himself full of joy. Then God directed him to Psalm 2:4, “He (God) who sits in the heavens shall laugh…”. While it is good to be sober, it is very important to know that the joy that the Holy Ghost gives causes a man to rejoice even in adversity, happy and full of thanksgiving and does translate into laughter.

Medically, laughter has got a lot of benefits. Laughing lowers blood pressure (for hypertensive patients), increases vascular blood flow, work out to the diaphragm, abdominal, facial, leg, & back muscles, reduce certain stress hormones, defends against respiratory infections reducing the frequency of cold, increases memory and learning; and improves alertness & creativity.

Like Sarah, in our text, is there any problem that has caused your mouth to cease from laughter, they shall be turn to many years of laughter in the name of Jesus. It is your season to laugh. It is your season to celebrate. I see all your dreams come through. Dumfounding breakthrough, unprecedented favour shall flow into your blossom causing you to laugh away all your wasted years in the name of Jesus.

Prophetic Decree: You will laugh everyday of this year in Jesus name. Prayer Focus:

I want you to take a prophetic action right now as you laugh your enemies to scorn.

1. Flood gate of joy of the Holy Ghost, rush into my bosom, in the name of Jesus.
2. I terminate every activity of joy-killers in my life, in Jesus name.
3. I trade all my sorrows for joy, all my pain for gain, in the name of Jesus.
4. I receive every breakthrough, favour, success, and promotion that will end all my silent cries, in the name of Jesus.
5. You this problem (mention the problem in your life), I will laugh over you, in the name of Jesus.
