Bible reading: HABAKKUK 2:1- 3

Memory Verse: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

There will also be a human voice that God has placed around you for your help, but the question is whether you will give that man a place of a father in your life or not. Mordecai was a father to Esther. Some Christians have been vanquished and robbed in life because a father God sent their way was ignored.

You cannot hear without listening. Sometimes, you have to listen to the end before you hear what is actually being said from the beginning. Learn to expose yourself to people that are hearing from God regularly. When you have a friend, a teacher or parent that hears the Lord, give him the right to speak into your life because, that way, you always have the commitment of God with you. Don’t turn deaf ears to men that God speak to about you.

If you are married, learn to understand the weakness in your spouse, learn to understand what your customer is complaining about, and hear what your teacher/lecturer wants in the exam. When you master how to hear, things will work for you without much stress. Be ready to hear more than you speak. Many times when women speak, they speak 80% emotions and 20% information. You must know how to sieve through the emotions in order to access the information. You must know how to read between the lines with your ears. Habakkuk said “I will stand upon my watch and see what He will say to me.” You can always see what is being said at a higher level of hearing.

Quote: Hear both the spoken and unspoken words.

Prophetic Word: May the Lord deliver you from yourself, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

Lord, I receive grace to hear. Deliver me from insensitivity. I receive help to hear. Lord, awaken my ear to hear You, day & night from today, in Jesus’ name. I come against any obstacle to my hearing from You, in Jesus name, Amen.
