DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post February

Monday, 6thFebruary, 2017.

Bible reading: Matt. 5:3-4, Job 5:11

Memory Verse: “For which cause, Come out from among them, and be separate, says the Lord, and let no unclean thing come near you; and I will take you for myself2 Corinthians 6:17(BBE).

7) Eagles Do Not Eat Dead Things

Eagles never consume dead things, but vultures do. Be careful what you put in your mouth and where you eat. Be disciplined!

8) Eagles Test before Trusting

The female eagle during courtship always takes a male eagle into the air after picking up a twig from the ground and dropping it from a certain height for the male to chase it. Once the male catches it and brings it back, the female flies into a higher altitude and drops it in the same way. This is repeated until the female gets an assurance that the male has mastered the art of seriously picking up the twigs in real love and affection. Once they get hooked up in trust, the father and the mother eagle mate for life. They also work together as parents.

I hear many young people say they have been jilted. They didn’t subject the love to the test of time. Be wise.

Quote: It is wisdom to give your heart to God alone.

Prophetic Word: May the Lord imp act you with wisdom like the Eagle, in Jesus name.

Prayer Points

  1. I receive the eagle anointing by the power of God in the name of Jesus.
  2. The Eagle in me, arise, shine, in the name of Jesus.
