Bible Reading: Mat. 6:19 – 20
Memory Verse: Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust
destroy and where thieves break in and steal Matthew 6:19
Do you remember Roberto Carlos, J.J. Okocha, Rashidi Yekini, Finidi George, Diego
Maradona, Kanu Nwankwo, Segun Odegbami, etc. All these are football legendaries
who rode on a high horse in their time but now, they are all history! Today we talk of
Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo, Mikel Obi, etc. but, in less than a decade they will also
join the book history.
Fame is transient. Fame is temporal. The only thing that will last are those good deeds
we store up in heaven where neither moth nor rust can destroy (Mat. 6:19). Time comes,
time goes. One day comes, then another. Have you dropped any investment in your
heavenly account today? There must be one thing you constantly do to register your
name daily in heaven every day of your life. What risk are you taking for the
advancement of the kingdom of God on earth? What monumental thing have you done
to write your name with a golden pen of kingdom high achievers in heaven?
“Behold I come quickly and my reward is with me to give to every one according to what
his work shall be.” Rev. 22:12. One day you will stand before the judgement throne of
God to account for this life He has borrowed you. What shall be your testimony? Your
life is a loan. God expects you to profit with it. While returning the loan, He expects that
it must have yield interest just as in the parable of the talent. May you not report back
as a failure before your Creator. Are you born again? Do you believe Jesus died for you,
washed away your sins and gave His life as a ransome for you? Delay no further as you
give back this transient life back unto him. Tomorrow maybe too late.

Prophetic Decree: You will not weep in regret at the end of your life in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus:
- Father have mercy upon me in Jesus name.
- By the mercies of God, I will not end in hell, in Jesus name.
- I live above every weakness and hindrance to making heaven in Jesus name.
- Father help me to be heavenly conscious in the name of Jesus.
- My Father, when you come to collect your people remember me, O Lord, in Jesus
name.
