Bible Reading: Genesis 13: 14-15

Memory VerseBut as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)

Other lessons from the Pearl Island in Qatar include:

3. Building from Nothing Like Creation in Genesis: The Pearl Island was built on reclaimed land from the sea! Something from nothing. In Genesis 1:2, “The earth was without form and void… and God said, ‘Let there be…’” God spoke with intention and brought order, beauty, and purpose out of chaos.

Lesson: Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Be like God and the Qatari developers. Create something purposeful even when all you see is “nothing.”

4. Long-Term Vision Like Joseph in Egypt: The Pearl wasn’t built in a day. It took years of development, adapting, and expanding. In Genesis 41:33-36, Joseph advised Pharaoh to store grain during 7 years of abundance to prepare for famine.

Lesson: Intentionality involves thinking generationally. What you build today affects your future. Whether it’s savings, habits, or governance, be intentional living plans for tomorrow.

5. Continuous Expansion: Never Settle! Though it was completed in phases, The Pearl Island continues to evolve adding new towers, hotels, and attractions. The goal is not just to exist but to thrive and expand. Proverbs 4:18 says, “The path of the just is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter...”

Lesson: Intentional living means never becoming stagnant. Keep improving. Stretch yourself. Nations and individuals alike must pursue continuous growth. Hence, you must set annual personal goals, be it spiritual, financial, relational, and professional, and review progress regularly.

6. Vision Beyond Limitation: They built on water! It was once impossible to think you could create land on water, but with vision, expertise, and investment, they did. In Matthew 14:29, Peter walked on water when he focused on Jesus, defying the laws of nature.

Lesson: Intentional living allows you to rise above limitations. If God has called you, walk, even if it seems like water is beneath you. Don’t be afraid to start something seemingly “impossible.” Begin with what you have.

Personal Life Application: Your “Pearl Island” might be finishing school, adding another skill, going for a professional certification, launching a business, building a godly family, or writing a book. Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Be like The Pearl. Start with nothing but have a vision and build boldly. Put structures in place. Have a plan. Have mentors. Develop constructive habits. Make sacrifices when needed. Think long term and act with purpose every day.

QuoteBy intentionally choosing how we live, we can create a more meaningful and fulfilling existence

Prophetic Decree: May the works of your hands dazzle the world and bring glory to God, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. My Father, anoint me afresh with the Oil of Greatness.

3. I receive the grace to receive the blue print of my life and live intentionally, in Jesus name.

4. Holy Spirit, anoint me with a fresh Oil of wisdom to do great and amazing things, in Jesus name.

5. After the order of King Uzziah, I shall dazzle the world for Jesus, in Jesus name (2 Chron. 26: 5,16).
