A prophetic prayer journal helps you to get closer to God and hear what He is saying. It establishes a written history of your relationship with the Lord, which encourages you as you grow in your prophetic gifts.

3. You love the Lord, and you are most willing to spend and be spent for Him in His household. Then, the Church officials became hostile. But, you endured the process of your becoming. Then, one day, one of the leaders who seem to be on your case walked into an impartation service, and blessed you. In less than one week, a cloud of blessings and open doors you have never experienced rushed into your life. Ministerial and career open doors! Dear friend, journal down such experience. Now you know that the devil could trigger ANYBODY to ‘sift you like wheat’ (Luke 22:31), so that you may not have your portion/ inheritance in the land of the living. Again, remember that the same Jesus who made a fairly derogatory statement when he compared healing the daughter of Canaanite woman to giving the children’s food to a dog was the same Jesus who later healed her daughter from her infirmity. What if she had taken offence?

4. Pastor Lawrence Oyor once met God’s General, Reverend Mosy Madugba at the airport lounge. He looked for the right opportunity to meet him one-on-one. He had heard how God used the man of God to raise the dead, cause rain to fall in a nation that hitherto, had experienced draught for several years, etc. As a youth corper, he brought out his savings, and gave it to the man of God. Then, “he triggered his depth” when the man of God wasn’t willing to collect his seed as a young corper. He told him, “It was Abraham who gave unto Melchisedek and not Melchisedek who gave unto Abraham”. Those words provoked the depth of the Man of God and he blessed him saying, “May the Lord give him a sure place on earth”. Those words and many more are responsible for what is happening in the life of our dear Psalmist. Pastor Lawrence said he journalled that experience and he has been able to replicate same experience anytime he wants to have a shift in the Spirit. 

5. You are also to journal down your painful dealings in the School of the Spirit. By this I mean your wilderness experiences. What God taught you when you disobeyed Him and the consequences thereof. Let it serve as a deterrent in your future dealings with Him. There are very painful experiences God subjects a man to when he is relatively small and unpopular in order “to reveal him to him,” tame his appetites, reveal an area of looming destruction, reveal habits or character the devil could explore, reveal his/her foundational weakness, etc. Having passed through such experiences, forgive yourself and accept the forgiveness of the Almighty, but please, don’t forget the lessons. Journal it. Let it serve as a deterrent. How art the mighty fallen? When they despise the lessons learnt in their wilderness experience.

Prophetic Decree: By the mercy of God, you will not miss your prophetic season, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus 

1. I receive the staying power to do what the Spirit does, to say what the Spirit says, and to write down the wonders of the Spirit of God in my life, in Jesus name. 

2. Holy Ghost, teach me to value, understand, and interpret my dealings with you, in Jesus name.

3. I refuse to be a deterrent to the body of Christ because I didn’t emblem the workings of the Spirit in my heart, in Jesus name. 

4. I receive grace to trigger the depth of men and women that will make a spiritual capital into my life through my words, seed offering, character and positioning, in Jesus name.
