Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 6:12-20
Memory Verse: Run away from sexual immorality [in any form, whether thought or behavior, whether visual or written]. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the one who is sexually immoral sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 (AMP)
Jesus said in John 15:5 (NKJV), “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing”. That means no matter your efforts in anything you do, and particularly as it concerns sexual purity, without his help, it won’t amount to anything worthwhile. But, you also have a quota to play. Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV), “Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.”
Now, how do I live sexually pure:
1.Be genuinely born again: Listen: Only those that believe in Jesus have been given power to BECOME Sons of God. You will remain a child (a playful and mesmerising tool in the hands of the devil) until you become a Son. Yes, this takes a process but the entry point is salvation. Have you really surrendered your life and emotions to Jesus?
2.Enrol for deliverance: Don’t be ignorant. You may not be free from the dominion of the spirit of lust, pornography, masturbation, bestiality, incest, etc, without casting out the demon involved, and at other times destroying the stronghold of the citadel of the spirit involved over time.
3.Be Spirit-filled: You must contend for the genuine baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. You need that fire that comes with the Holy Ghost baptism. Contend for the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. The Bible has given us the promise of baptism by the Holy Spirit and by His fire (Mat. 3:11). When you carry sufficient fire of the Holy Ghost, that dirty spirit sponsored by Baalzebub burns to ashes once they latch on your mind.
- Be a Word addict: Gather scriptures as a Word bomb; and keep confessing it day and night. “I am the righteousness of God” (2 Cor. 5: 21), “I put on the garment of holiness” (Psalm 24), “I am seated with Christ far above principalities” (Ephesians 2:6), “I have overcome the devil by the Blood of the lamb…” (Rev. 12:11), “My body is the temple of God” (1 Cor. 6:19) etc. ‘Word Bomb’ the head of that lustful serpent as its loses its grip over your heart. Take Word responsibility.

Prophetic Decree: The sexual demons inherent in your bloodline shall not ruin your destiny, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
- Today, I accept Jesus as my personal Lord and saviour, in Jesus name.
- The strongman of the spirit of sexual immorality in all its ramifications in my foundation and environment, die, in Jesus name.
- Today, I receive fresh hunger and baptism of the Holy Ghost in Jesus name.
- I receive fresh appetite for the Word of God, in Jesus name.
- Quickening power from the Word of God shall flow from within my spirit, in Jesus name.
