Bless God for Pastor Mrs Anwinli Ojeikere. Destiny is not built on shortcuts but on solid character. Look at Genesis 39:2, the Lord was with Joseph and he was a successful man. So, if he had succumbed to the test from Potiphar’s wife, he would have missed out on fulfilling his destiny. Everywhere you are, there is something you need to fulfill. If you give in to shortcuts because of quick success, at the end of the day, you’ll drown. Destiny is not built on shortcut but on solid character. Even though Potiphar’s wife had the ability to cover Joseph up but he realised that he should live for an audience of one which is God. Because God’s approval will always last forever.

People say, “Just do it, what’s the big deal?” But the eyes of the Lord are on both the good and the wicked. I remember having an issue with a lecturer; without that grade, I faced an extension. People pressured me to sleep with him. “It’s just once, don’t be too rigid,” they said. Pressure pushes people to compromise, but God is always watching. I came to the end of myself and told my pastor friend and Christian friend, “Let’s pray.” 

I resolved that if I had an extra year, it would be for the glory of God. If God could not defend me, then so be it. We must live for an audience of One (God) because His approval lasts forever. God is just, not foolish; He sees and records our sincerity. It may look like, “But I’m trying. I’m faithful. Why am I not getting the things I should get?” It may look like there’s a delay but there’s a crown stored up for you. It’s just a matter of time. Integrity protects your destiny. It directs your life. 

Let’s look at another practical example in the workplace. Imagine being in a company where a team pulls you aside to manipulate figures, saying the boss won’t know. You join in, but someone reports it. When you’re caught, everyone involved is sacked, and not just the initiator. Then you say, I wish I had known. Integrity guides and protects. Some doors may close temporarily, but God opens bigger doors because of your clean records.

Quote: Those who fail the test of destiny remain a mediocre in the school of life.

Prophetic Decree: You will not fail the host of heaven due to compromise, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus 

1. Lord, I am sorry for disappointing you due to the pressures of life, in Jesus name. 

2. Lord, I am sorry for any compromise of my faith. 

3. Whatever I have lost due to compromise today, I recover it, in Jesus name. 

4. Wisdom for profitable living, overshadow my life, in Jesus name. 

5. Like Joseph in Potiphar’s house, I will not bow to the pressure of sexual sin in my workplace, with a lecturer, or with a paedophile, in Jesus name.
