Bible Reading: Ruth 1:16-17

Memory Verse:  Many people declare themselves loyal, but who can find someone who is [really] trustworthy? Proverbs 20:6 (NLT)

A write-up credited to Apostle Nebai Ogbonna said: Loyalty is a non-denominational currency with a trilateral value. In Heaven, loyalty has a purchasing power. On Earth, loyalty has a purchasing power. In the dark world, loyalty has a purchasing power.

Once a spirit has seen that you’ve offered him loyalty, there’s nothing that spirit can’t give to you.  Satan told Jesus, “Just bow to me, and all that your eyes can see in this world, will be yours at the snap of a finger.”

Jesus replied him, “I understand the mystery of loyalty; my loyalty is submitted to a higher Deity; the One who possesses the pre-eminence of both this world and that which is to come.” (Matthew 4:8-10, Paraphrased)

The problem between Haman and Mordecai was loyalty. Everyone was loyal to Haman, but Mordecai was in the denial.

In fact, the propensity for disloyalty is one factor God takes into consideration before releasing His blessings.

In Deuteronomy 8:10-17, Moses warned the people that as God blesses them and their family, as their goods and investments prosper, they should not become self-conceited and proud in themselves. Rather, they should return all the glory and praise to God.

I hear many people, men especially, ask, “A virtuous woman, who can find?” (Proverbs 31:10)

But I don’t know if this verse of scripture is not in their Bible:

Proverbs 20:6, “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?”

See this wonderful version:

Proverbs 20:6 (TLB), “Most people will tell you what loyal friends they are, but are they telling the truth?”

My Counsel: Let us quit seeking for loyal people, and start seeking to be loyal people.

What is the Golden Rule again?

Matthew 7:12, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”

Selah.

Quote:  Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honour – Proverbs 21:21 (ESV)

Prophetic Decree:  Every foundational seed of disloyalty in my life to a righteous course, be scourged, in Jesus name.
