Bible Reading: 2 Cor. 4:8-12

Memory Verse:Nay, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:37(KJV)

Let me tell you one attitude of champions. Champions don’t complain. Another attitude of great men: They give themselves no excuse for failure. Successful men are always “Esperanza” (hopeful). Necessity they say is the mother of invention, fathered by experience.

Common excuse students give for failure include: “I have no one to help me”, “I am weak in the subjects I fail”, “I hate the lecturer”, “My teacher failed me because I refused to sleep with him”, “I couldn’t pay my tuition fees, hence I opted out of school”, “no electric power for my night study”, etc.  In life, there will always be a reason not to do what you are meant to do. You must always fight against that. I have heard of people who were born orphans but rose up amidst daunting challenges to emerge leaders in their nation. Cobham Asuquo is a blind man, despite this impediment, he rose as an icon to become a music producer. Helen Keller, is an internationally acclaimed author and lecturer, she is deaf and blind.

You must develop the attitude of champions and stop giving excuses for what you are meant to do. There is no risk free zone in the school of life. Whether you take action or not, there are consequences. Take that bold step today.

Quote: There is no excuse in destiny.

Prophetic Word: I command every spiritual lion roaring against you dead, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

  1. I command every power saying “no” to the “yes” of God in my life, dead in Jesus name.
  2. Evil lions in my father’s house intimidating my career success, die by fire, in Jesus name.
  3. Any evil king in my lineage, die, in Jesus name.
  4. Spiritual vultures, hunting my career success, collide with the Rock of Ages and die, in Jesus name.
  5. I refuse to struggle from infancy to graveyard, in Jesus name.
