Scriptural reading: Gen.13:1-9

Memory verse for the week:    Psalm 103: 1-2 

1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:           

Father Abraham in the history of the Bible especially the Old Testament was a man who walked with God because of his great faith. However, God appeared to be silent at a junction in his life because this great Patriarch of faith wasted time making a decision. He wasn’t willing to live without his nephew, Lot.  Gen.13:9

Friends, there come a time in the life of a teenager that you need to tell yourself the bitter truth about the decisions you must make to move your life forward.

(Hello teenager! Please fill the questionnaire sincerely. Give it to your parent/ guardian, teacher, mentor or role model to advice you accordingly and hold you accountable for your decisions).

  1. My Personal walk with God.
  2. How close do I want to be with God this year?
  3. How many minutes/hours do I want to spend praying daily?
  4. How many minutes/ hours do I want to spend reading and meditating on the Bible?
  5. What are the possible hindrances to these above decisions?
  • My Academics.
  • What are the subjects I like? List them.
  • Why do I like them?
  • What subjects do I hate?
  • Why do I hate them?
  • What can I do to like those subjects that I hate?
  • What do I want my grade to look like at the end of this term? (Please write it down one after another for each subject)
  • How many good books, good novels & Christian literatures am I going to read monthly?

ACTION WORD:        OPT FOR A POSITIVE CHANGE.

PRAYER POINT:

  1. I bulldoze any barrier to my academic excellence this year in the name of Jesus.

After the order of Biblical Enoch, I receive grace to walk and work with God in Jesus name
