Bible Reading: Psalm 119:18, Ephesians 1:18a

Memory Verse:  And I went up by revelation… Galatians 2:2 (NKJV)

There was a pregnant woman. Mysteriously, she couldn’t give birth for 4 years. The devil and his agents had tied the pregnancy in her womb. Sometimes hospital scan would show, and sometimes it would not show that there is a baby in her womb. The woman was brought for prayers. Perusing into the spirit, the man of God discovered that she had been tied down there in the spirit realm, and the enemy was feeding her with grass. So how would she deliver this baby when the food she was eating is grass? A prophetic order was given to all the caterers of darkness to stop feeding her and that those who tied her down should release her.

Those two prayers were all that was needed to be prayed. The prayers prayed were specific and she fell into labour straightaway.  If he had prayed, “Deliver this baby like the Hebrew women”, nothing would happen because that was not the problem. Such could have amounted to what is called “Misfired Prayer Points.” More than ever before, accuracy is needed to wage a good warfare in these perilous days.

This is one reason why we pray in other tongues. If you have not been baptized with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, you need to ask the Lord to baptize you today. Specific prayers are usually borne out of revelation. It is a good thing to pray, “O Lord, show me the root of my problems.” When you are meant to be attacking the root of a problem and you are merely cutting off its branches, the problem will either remain or come back later. Pray for the miracle of the open eyes today. No wonder the Psalmist said, “Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.” Psalm 119:18 (ESV). This is the mystery of praying specific prayers.
