There is a local parlance which says, “If care is not taken, the problem the love of money will create, even money will not be able to solve it”. What do you have to say of a young guy of 19 years with over 36 million naira in his bank account without any legitimate business? Oh, this world! The other time, a man was nabbed for killing many of his clients whom he was owing money and buried their bodies in his soakaway. Many overtly desperate job seekers have met their untimely death in the hands of money ritualists. They were tricked by giving them a false address only to massacre them for money rituals.
The other time, a popular actor got a call from a supposed producer to come act a script. He was given a befitting welcome. They flew him by air to the supposed location. The only saving grace for him was that he sent the address of where he was via Google map to a friend of his who was a policeman who came on time to rescue him. Else, he could have been used for money rituals. It was a very carefully planned evil process. There are many who board public transport but were hypnotized only to find themselves in the middle of a jungle before a herbalist.
What do you have to say of a young person in his 20’s who in his desperation to “cash out” killed his grandma? Ritual money! Dear friend, life operates by process. If you must last you must subject yourself to the process of making. Develop the patience to take one step before the other. Someone said that in the Civil service in a particular country in Subsahara Africa, once it is about two years before your retirement, you are transferred to a place where you can make a lot of money; of course, illegitimately.
You can make as much as 28,000 dollars without doing much “to compensate for the meritorious service done for your nation” provided you have been loyal to your boss anyway. Don’t let us talk about corruption that goes on when contracts are being awarded. Tell me how Africa will grow with this horrible mindset and system of governance? Corruption with impunity to say the least. Friends, you need to guard your heart with all diligence else, you will join this set of people. Friends, you need to reinvent yourself and develop multiple streams of income else, you will bow down to the pressure of mammon. Think ahead friend. Times are changing. While you wait for job opportunities, you can create one. Look within. Pray for divine ideas. Look for problems around you to solve. Grace!

Prayer Focus
1. We repent of all the atrocities committed as individuals and even as a nation because of our love for money.
2. Holy Spirit, please circumcise my heart, today, in Jesus name.
3. Blood of Jesus, laminate my heart against the love of money, in Jesus name.
4. I receive divine ideas to make legitimate money that I may not compromise my faith, in Jesus name.
5. I receive the spirit of self control and contentment, in Jesus name.
