Bible Reading: Job 32:8

It is wisdom to do common things in an uncommon way. That is what is called innovation. Tom Freston said, ‘Innovation is taking two things that exist and putting them together in a new way”. You can create your own uniqueness. You don’t necessarily have to always start something new. Do well to improve on what has already been established. Socrates, a Philosopher who lived between 470-399 BC once said, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but building on the new”.
A young man who seized the attention of many on social media after a video of him hawking while dressed in a clean white shirt and tie has narrated how it all started. His name is Moses Ubi, a 22-year-old Nigerian man. He dresses like a bank official while plying his food business commonly known as Agidi. The Akwa Ibom indigene said that he is the only qualified, recognized, and educated agidi person, selling educated agidi. Waoh! Moses said that it is a marketing strategy to get people to patronise him, adding that it works. The young man said that going around well-dressed came with much shame when he initially started out and people were watching him.
No wonder Steven Jeffes, a Marketing & business expert said, “Innovation is the unrelenting drive to break the status quo and develop anew where few have dared to go”. Moses said he offers a balanced diet with his food. He added that once you like his dressing, you would want to taste what he is hawking. When he noticed that his business was growing, he thought of that plan as a way to rebrand it. Many laughed at him when he started speaking English as a strategy because his use of the language was not good enough until he perfected it. He said he kept at it because he thought to himself; why should he shy away from something that gives him money.
Little wonder Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon said, “I believe you have to be willing to be misunderstood if you’re going to innovate.” Brethren, having waited upon the Lord on the project of your prosperity, defy all odds to bring it to pass. In this year 2022, create your own uniqueness even if it is uncommon, and watch the whole world pay you attention. “When the winds of change blow, some people build walls and others build windmills” – Chinese proverb. #Greater Glory.

Prayer Focus
1. The God that does not change but changes things, I thank You.
2. This year, I shall break the limitations of my father’s house, in Jesus mighty name.
3. I receive the Joshua and Caleb’s anointing to see the possible, and do the impossible, in Jesus name.
4. O God of Daniel, single me out for uncommon promotion this year, in Jesus name.
5. Uncommon wisdom, overshadow my life, in Jesus name.
