Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 6:9-20.

Memory verse:   Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself. 1 Corinthians 6:19

Two young ladies arrived at a meeting wearing clothes that were revealing their body parts. The chairman of the occasion told them look at them and made them sit. Then he said, “Ladies, everything that God made valuable in this world are well covered and hard to see, find and get. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and well protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers of rock and to get them, you have to dig deep to get them. He looked at them and said, ‘Your body is sacred and unique’. You are far more precious than gold, diamonds and pearls, and you should be well covered too.”

Key Point :      Dress to cover up your nakedness.

Prayer Points:

  1. Holy Spirit, help me to dress only to please my Maker, in Jesus name.
  2. Every affinity with the world, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
