Bible Reading:  Romans 12: 1-2, 2 Timothy 2: 19-21

Memory Verse If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:21 (NLT)

Messages such as holiness, consecration, sanctification, purity etc, seems a bit strange to this present day generation. Perhaps such words haven’t be said on the pulpit of some churches in the last three months. Salient points about consecration include:

1. It means to be separated from things that are unclean, especially anything that would contaminate one’s relationship with a perfect God.

2. A consecrated vessel hates sin with perfect hatred.

3. It means to devote oneself wholly to God (1 Cor. 7:1-6).

4. To be consecrated means to love holiness and hate unrighteousness.

5. A consecrated vessel does not connive with others to do evil.

6. To be consecrated is to be totally separated from a dying world.

7. To be consecrated means to be purged of sinful habits and old way of life.

8. To be consecrated is to offer one’s life and will as a living sacrifice unto God (Rom. 12:1-2).

9. To be consecrated is to be different from the world and its inherent corruption.

10. To be consecrated is to lose your identity in exchange for God’s identity.

11. Consecration is the call of all saints that will cross to the other side Jordan.

12. A consecrated vessel is very sensitive to sin, and avoids it very passionately.

13. To be consecrated is to offer your will, your love, your emotions, etc, to Christ the King.

14. A consecrated vessel does not only hate sin but every evil weight and all appearances of evil.

Question: Are you a consecrated vessel?

QuoteRevelation is the first step to holiness, and consecration is the second. A day must come in our lives, as definite as the day of our conversion, when we give up all right to ourselves and submit to the absolute Lordship of Jesus Christ – Watchman Nee

2. Holy Ghost fire please burn every garment of sin in my life, in Jesus name.
