Bible Reading: Genesis 3:11-13, Proverbs 22:13

Memory Verse: If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done. Ecclesiastes 11:4 (TLB)

The day Zacchaeus climbed the tree, short people lost their right to use HEIGHT as an excuse. The day David killed Goliath, young people lost their right to use AGE as an excuse. The day Joseph became Prime Minister, illegal immigrants lost their right to use STATUS as an excuse. The day the woman with the issue of blood used all of her last strength to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, weak people lost their right to use WEAKNESS as an excuse. The day the widow dropped all her living, poor people lost their right to use POVERTY as an excuse. The day Daniel met the lions, fearful people lost their right to use DEATH as an excuse. The day grace came through Christ, the unbeliever lost their right to use SIN as their excuse. There is hardly any perfect condition in life. The second quarter of Year 2022 is on the way, how far have you travelled with your New Year dreams and vision? Hope you aren’t giving yourself an excuse for not doing what you are meant to do? The political system may never be perfect. Funds may not always be available. Friends may not always be there. The needed expertise you may not currently have. However, with God on your side, prayerfully and by wisdom, you can scale all the many mountainous challenges on your way. First, get it right. Ask yourself: Did God initiate this project, dream or vision? Secondly, am I in the season and timing for its execution according to the plan of God for my life? Should your answer to the two aforementioned questions be ‘Yes’, then launch out in faith. God’s initiative will only take God’s grace to perform. The password to its execution can only be faith and wisdom. Don’t give yourself an excuse for failing.
