Ever wondered why couples trusting God for a miracle e.g. fruit of the womb are advised always to be at peace with each other? This is to prevent the devil who uses such spirit as the spirit of offence from chasing away their angel of fruitfulness. Be sensitive. Offence breaks the bond of unity. People stop doing things together when offence come in. They don’t pray together again, they refuse to come to church, delegate unnecessarily their responsibilities, etc.
That spirit of offence is going to put its ugly eyes in that partnership, and in that relationship because it is seeing a major harvest coming and it is going to work out certain situations emotionally and circumstantially to get the partners to clash, quarrel, separate and walk away. You are going nowhere until you have learnt how to handle offences. Offence abort divine pregnancies and visions inside people. Respectfully speaking, many assistant pastors are offended in their senior pastor and vice versa.
Offences separates you from the protection of the anointing. Let it go. What offence will cost you is more than what you are willing to pay. Spouses are offended with their better half. Children are offended with their parents and vice versa. Not many people can say I have a friend of 20 years standing. Why? Offence. Offence leaves people hurting and wounded. It is only the devil that profits from offences.
There are too many things that bring offences on a daily basis should we fail to consciously love and promptly forgive. The ground of offence is not as important as the goal of offence which is to steal your harvest. Offence makes you think of an alternative to God’s choice, God’s plan and God’s purpose for your life. More than that, offence steals your harvest in life. The proof that offence has eaten you is that the seed of revenge is boiling in you.
When you make up your mind by the grace of God that you will not be offended, you have just given the devil a deadly blow and secured your blessings and harvest. You can live a life free from offence by choice even as the Spirit of God empowers you. You have the responsibility to keep your atmosphere offence free. If it means cutting off certain relationships as led by the Spirit of God, please do.
Advantages of living an offence free life include:
1. Tremendous joy and peace.
2. Tremendous dimension of spiritual power.
3. Embarrassing high favour.
4. Uncommon lifting: A man who has chosen to daily die to offence won’t struggle to be lifted. In fact, his lifting is irreversible.
Quote: The reasons surrounding the offence may be legitimate but surely not justifiable. Offence is a work of the flesh.
Prophetic Decree: Receive grace to live a life free from offence, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father because offence shall not steal my harvest, in Jesus name.
2. I receive a heart of maturity and love, in Jesus name.
3. Arrows of offence fired into my heart, backfire, in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace to live peaceably with all men in Jesus name.
5. Any spirit of offence between my spouse and I, my boss and I , my Pastor and I, die, in Jesus name.
6. I receive grace to forgive and forget all that (mention the name of the person) ever said or did to me, in Jesus name.
