Bible Reading:  Romans 8: 37

Memory Verse:  No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. Romans 8:37 (NLT)

Permit me to say this: God has not promised you an easy journey. However, He has promised that He will always be with you and will never leave you. Isaiah 43:2 (TLB) says, “When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you.”  Toyinbo Ojuola is a recent first-class graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun state.

When he completed his secondary school education, Ojuola’s parents wanted him to learn a trade due to lack of funds, but the young man was determined to advance his education to the university. The Ipokia-born fresh graduate stated that many of his companions got married and ignored university education. He said he was one of the best performers in his secondary school which made his teachers encourage him to enroll in the university.

His words: “I never believed I would graduate with a 2’1. I was just doing my thing. When I saw that I graduated with a first-class, I was so happy.” Ojuola explained that he started as a bricklayer, before moving on to using motorcycle for business purposes. He added: “Most people are not aware that I attended school. They only knew me as an Okada rider. Sometimes, I use the motorcycle to carry bags of cement.”  What a life full of many lessons!

1. His parents wanted him to drop out of school for obvious reasons. However, his faith says No, and God couldn’t do otherwise. If you wouldn’t close your eyes to possibilities despite obvious obstacles, you will soon share your own testimony. Testimonies usually comes after a test has been passed. The bigger the test, the bigger the testimony.

2. Be ready to pay a great price for the good success you desire.

3. Excuses are what weaklings give themselves in order to avoid the price needed for glory. Great achievers will always manoeuvre through the biggest obstacles.

4. You will always need people to cheer you on when the journey gets tough. Behold, the gift of men!

5. If you are not ready to humble yourself, you may never fulfil your destiny. Can you do menial job like he did in order to achieve a nobler course?

Quote:  You are responsible for your eventuality. Blame no one for what you eventually become.

Prophetic Decree: I command all the altars frustrating your destiny to catch fire, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. In this second quarter, I am unstoppable, in the name of Jesus.

2. My life shall not lack the gift of men, in Jesus name.

3. Opportunity wasters,  be wasted, in Jesus name.

4. Poverty shalI not bury my glorious destiny, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Spirit, help me to humble myself, take up my Cross, and pursue my destiny vigorously, in Jesus name.
