Bible Reading: John 6:63, Revelations 12:10-11, Hebrews 4:12

Memory Verse: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11 

At bedtime on the 29th day of the marriage of a newly wedded Christian couple, the wife discovered that there was smoke in the air. Thankfully they discovered the source of the leakage which was from the gas cylinder in the kitchen and carefully in order to prevent explosion, it was turned off. The husband began to ponder in his spirit where he opened the door for the enemy to enter into his home. Then, the wife shared a short video clip with him which she saw 5 years before that time. On the 29th day of this new couple in the video clip, there was a gas explosion in their home.

Lo and behold, both the husband and wife were trapped in the bedroom unable to move their legs. The wife managed to roll out of bed until she got outside, vomited and went unconscious only to find herself in the hospital the day after. Her husband didn’t make it; he died. After watching that video clip, the husband understood how they opened the door to the enemy. The testimony his wife listened to 5 years ago before her wedding which she did not renounce and reject outrightly played out on the same day, at the same time in their new home. Save for God’s grace, death was looming. The devil loves to hide below the radar. Brethren, this is food for thought.

Be careful of the testimonies you accept into your heart. They are not only seeds sown into your heart but they are also seeds sown into your future. What you heard which is not consistent with what God has spoken, you reject and cancel by power in the Blood of Jesus. Words are spirit. Words are living. At the moment of writing this devotional, the COVID-19 pandemic is still on the rampage. Please permit me to advice you: Read more of the testimonies of prevention and survivors than the testimonies of those that died of the disease to prevent the spirit of fear from entering into your heart. Words are powerful. Words are spiritual. Words are life. May the Lord walk back to our subconscious mind and uproot all the seeds of the enemies waiting for harvest in due season.

Prophetic Decree: By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I erase any evil testimony fashioned against your life & family.

Prayer Focus

1. Thank you Father because only Your counsel stands.

2. Seeds of destruction sown into my sub-consciousness, be roasted to ashes, in Jesus name.

3. Power in the Blood of Jesus laminate my heart, in Jesus name.

4. Lord Jesus, walk back into my life and perfect my deliverance, in the name of Jesus.

5. I cancel all the possibilities of the devil I have invested in, consciously and subconsciously, by the power in the Blood of Jesus.
