Bible reading:               Philippians 2:5 7-8;  Matthew 11:27-29.

Memory Verse: “For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. John 13:15

  1. Jesus went a “little further” in all that he did (Matthew 26:36).

 He went the extra mile to carry the extra oil. What makes you a leader is that in all, you’re ahead of your followers.

  • Jesus was a relationship builder (Mark 1:19).
  • Jesus expressed control and authority as a leader, when needed (Mark 1:23-25).
  • Jesus engaged crisis head-on (Mark 1:30-31). A good leader must be able to proffer solutions to numerous problems and take good initiative.
  • Jesus went about empowering others. (Mark 1: 40-45)

Action Word:                Imitate the leadership quality of Jesus

Prayer Point:

  1. My Father, make me a world changer, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Power of exemplary leadership, fall upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
