Bible Reading: 1 John 2: 1-2, Ephesians 1: 7-8

Memory VerseTherefore there is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 (BLB)

For many wallowing under the heavy burden of shame and guilt because of past mistakes and errors, may you receive the comfort of the Holy Ghost by these words. Credit to the works of Pastor Jack Wellman:

  1. It’s Satan’s delight to tell me that once he’s got me, he will keep me. But at that moment I can go back to God. And I know that if I confess my sins, God is faithful and just to forgive me – Alan Redpath
  • Many people live under the burden of guilt and shame. Guilt says “I did something bad” and shame says “I am bad” – and both are lies from the devil! God loves you, no matter your past, and He sent Jesus to forgive all your sins.
  •  When we stray from His presence, He longs for you to come back. He weeps that you are missing out on His love, protection and provision. He throws His arms open, runs toward you, gathers you up, and welcomes you home – Charles Stanley
  • He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake – Psalm 23:3
  •  A great many people want to bring their faith, their works, their good deeds to Him for salvation. Bring your sins, and He will bear them away into the wilderness of forgetfulness, and you will never see them again – Dwight L. Moody
  • God pardons like a mother, who kisses the offense into everlasting forgiveness – Henry Ward Beecher
  • To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name – Acts 10:43
  • It is not the situation which makes the man, but the man who makes the situation. The slave may be a freeman. The monarch may be a slave. Situations are noble or ignoble, as we make them – Frederick W. Robertson
  • When God is involved, anything can happen. Be open. Stay that way. God has a beautiful way of bringing good vibrations out of broken chords – Chuck Swindoll
  1. An unpeaceful mind cannot operate normally. Hence the Apostle teaches us to “have no anxiety about anything” (Phil. 4:6). Deliver all anxious thoughts to God as soon as they arise. Let the peace of God maintain your heart and mind (v. 7) – Watchman Nee.
  1. The only way to get rid of your past is to make a future out of it. God will waste nothing – Phillips Brooks
  1. Failing is not a disgrace unless you make it the last chapter of your book – Jack Hyles
  • B: For the devil to have any legal ground over your life, there must have been a door you opened. Close any such door. Restitute where necessary. Then, the power of the accuser of brethren will be broken over your life.

Quote:  It is one thing for God to forgive you, and It is another thing for you to forgive yourself.

Prophetic Decree: I shut the mouth of the accuser of brethren whispering defeat, guilt and condemnation into your heart, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

Thank you Father because Jesus Christ is my advocate. He has silenced the voice of the accuser of brethren against me in the court of heaven. I am free. I was not merely discharged and acquitted; my sins were blotted out by the Blood of the Lamb of God. For it is written in Colossians 2:14-15 that Jesus Christ has blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against me, which was contrary to me, and He took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. I am free. Jesus sets me free, why should I be bound. Shame to the accuser of the brethren.
