DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post November

Bible reading:  Daniel 1:3-8.

Memory Verse: And Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not pollute himself with the king’s delicate food, nor with the wine which he drank; and he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not have to pollute himself. Daniel 1:8 (DBY)

Daniel was captured to Babylon at a tender age of 17 years. He and his other friends boldly said, “We cannot sing the Lord’s song in a strange land “(Psalm 137:4).

At another time, they confidently dared the declaration of the king to bow down before his golden image. Remember they didn’t meet their parents for instructions on what to do at such a critical moment. They were well prepared with a deep conviction in their spirit about the God they serve.

They, out of the knowledge and daily encounter with God of Israel voiced out their convictions not afraid they could be killed.

May you personally encounter God in Jesus name.

Action Point: They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

Prayer Point

1) Power for definite encounter, come upon my life, in the name of Jesus.

2) Demonic distractions killing my time & life, your time is up, die, in the name of Jesus.
