Bible Reading: Proverbs 18:16

Memory Verse: A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. Proverbs 18:16 (NKJV)

In life, destiny is not fulfilled in isolation. God often uses people as bridges to the next level of a man’s life. Many doors that prayer open are entered through honourable connections. When God wants to lift a man, He connects him to the right people.

Look at the story of Joseph. Joseph had the gift of interpreting dreams, but his gift alone did not place him in the palace immediately. God arranged a connection with Pharaoh through the cupbearer. One introduction changed Joseph’s life forever. The prisoner became a prime minister.

Another example is David. His destiny as king was connected to Samuel who anointed him, and later to Jonathan who protected him. God positioned people around David who helped preserve his destiny.

This shows us something important: honourable connections are not accidents; they are divine arrangements.

However, many people pray for open doors but forget to pray for the power that attracts the right people. Not every connection is good for destiny. Some relationships delay destiny, while others accelerate it.

The power for honourable connection includes:

1. Character: God does not connect great people to those who will embarrass destiny. Faithfulness, humility, and integrity attract the right people.

2. Gift and value: Your gift is often the magnet for destiny helpers. When you develop what God placed in you, it naturally draws the right connections.

3. Divine favour: Favour causes people who do not know you to recommend, support, and open doors for you.

4. Spiritual sensitivity: Sometimes destiny helpers come in simple forms. If you are not sensitive, you may ignore someone God sent to help you. 

Quote: A simple conversation, introduction, or recommendation can change the direction of a life for good.

Prophetic Decree:  Let the angels of favour begin to work overtime until you move from promises to notable miracles, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus 

1. I command the right people to enter into my life by fire, in the name of Jesus. 

2. I receive power to attract honourable connections that will not corrupt but help fulfil my destiny, in Jesus name. 

3. Angels of favour, overshadow my life, in Jesus name. 

4. The blessings of God speak over the works of my hands, in Jesus name. 

5. Any curse, evil covenant, spell, divination or enchantment working against my life, be cancelled by the power in the Blood of Jesus.
