Bible Reading: Acts 16:25, 1 Corinthians 14:26.

Memory verse:Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. Ephesians 5:19(NKJV)

Years ago there was a musician, now late. Whenever this musician sings in concerts, the whole hall was jammed. Soon, corpses of some of his audience were carried out of the choky hall. This musician was a living idol. What most people didn’t know was that the people who died were being used for sacrifice, for the fame of this musician to continually grow. This said musician died mysteriously leaving his Parents and children behind. Vanity upon vanity (Eccl. 1:2).

Haven’t you observed that many secular artistes die strangely? Why? Many have sold their soul to the devil. They enjoy the evil contract with the devil for an agreed period of time, and he cuts off their life prematurely. Nothing is free with the devil!

Discipline your ears to listen only to music that glorify God; and teach good morals.

Action word:  Sing Only Godly Songs.

Prayer points:

  1. Blood of Jesus, wash my heart and ears, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Any unconscious evil convenant working against my life as a result of the music I have ever listened to, break by fire, in the name of jesus.
