The Saints of old understood some spiritual mysteries which empowers them to exercise dominion, claim territories, subdue nations and destroy all works of the devil. God remains the same and He is not a respected of persons (Heb.13:8, Romans 2:11).
If you must fulfill your destiny in a grand style, get ready for opposition. Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 16:9 says, “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries”. Hence, the weapon of Prayer and fasting must be well taught and learnt.
Prayer is a means of dialogue between God and Man. It involves two parties- the Creator and the Created. Note that prayer is not a monologue. Many atimes, we talk to God but do not wait to hear what He has to say back to us. At other times, we haven’t developed the art of hearing God speak to us hence; we miss out in His gentle whispers and confirmations in our spirits (Rom 8:16).
Fasting on the other side is what butter is to bread. Butter gives smooth access for bread to go down the throat. In the same vein, when prayer is complemented with fasting, you sail & penetrate deeper into the spirit realm because your flesh has been subdued and spiritual power has been released.
Are you young or old please listen to me: Some mountains will not bow before you until there is artillery bombardment of much prayer & fasting coupled with your faith in God.
Quote: Pray so you won’t be a prey. Prayerlessness = Powerlessness.
Prophetic Word: Let the appetite to pray & fast fall upon you, in Jesus name.
