Mysterious problems require mysterious approach. The story is told of a man who had an excellent result and consequently was given scholarship to go abroad for his doctorate. Mysteriously, after 8 years, he hadn’t graduated. His lecturers kept failing this very brilliant student. His wife was privileged to meet a genuine prophet who came into their home to pray with them. As he prayed, he heard clearly the voice of the Holy Spirit saying, “his neighbour.”
As led by the Spirit of God, he moved straight downstairs. He knocked on the door of the man downstairs, and he introduced himself. After a while, he asked this neighbour, ‘Do you know those people living upstairs?’ He replied, “Those useless people, I have finished them. I sit down on my mat altar, and I chant their names every night from 12am to 3am. I will light a candle; the candle will last for three hours. I will sit on a mat and I will be mentioning his name that he must fail three hours every night. To make a fellow man to fail, he continued his evil prayers until the candle goes out; and he was doing that every night, and this man continued to fail, not knowing that his enemy was downstairs, praying satanic prayers against him. You have forgotten that 40 Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves with an oath not to eat or drink until they had killed Paul in Acts 23:12 (NIV). Wake up beloved, the mystery surrounding your life has an explanation attached to it. Could it be that somebody is chanting incantations, cursing you with dark powers or making divination against your life? You remember Balaam, a prophet of the Lord was hired to curse the Israelites. A curse is a similitude of a satanic prayer offered to invoke demons over a life, family, house, organization, community, etc. However, there is a ready-made provision in the Word of God that offered protection against all forms of satanic prayers. Numbers 23:23 (KJV), “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!” The Blood of Jesus speaks better words than the blood of Abel. Stop them before they stop you. (Numbers 22:1-6;12; 23:27-30).

Prayer Focus
1. Curses of wicked elders against my life, backfire, in the name of Jesus!
2. Prayers offered in the middle of the night to programme failure into my life, be neutralised by the Blood of Jesus.
3. Enchantment programmed into burning candles against my destiny in the hour of the night, be annulled by the atoning Blood of Jesus.
4. Altars of my father’s house breathing cruelty against my divine destiny, catch fire, in Jesus name.
5. My Helper! My Advocate!! My Deliverer!!! Jesus Christ of Nazareth, blot out the curse of the congregation of witchcraft powers poised to limit my progress, in Jesus name.
