Scripture Reading:                    Matthew 11:1-30

Memory verse for the week:   Prov. 6:6

“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.”

“What is your problem, Amaka? I pay hundreds of thousands of naira every term as school fees to secure your future, and give you a colourful destiny. During my days, I trekked to a public school not only after I had hawked hot rice for my mum very early in the morning. Will I open your head and put all that your teacher teaches into it,” she yelled!

Your Parents must have been providing the best they can afford for you like Amaka’s mum. That’s nice! But friends, your Parents cannot save your soul nor give you a new brain!  Only Jesus can save.

I offer you the best of all gifts this day. It is called Salvation. In the box of Salvation is healing, academic success, deliverance, miracle and joy in the Holy Ghost among other things. Only God can truly make a man brilliant. HELLO teen, many have had their entire life completely turned around for good, when they invited Jesus into their life; not only as a saviour, but also as their Lord. Matthew 11:28 says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Don’t just aim for success. Aim for good success. Joshua 1:8. Give your life to Jesus today. Confess, repent and renounce all your sins. Tell Jesus to come into your life. Academic excellence is the least Jesus has got to offer! Romans 8:32 says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”(KJV)

ACTION WORD:       A LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST IS A LIFE FULL OF CRISIS.

PRAYER POINT

  1. Jesus, come into my life today, now and forever more.
  2. I reject the spirit of the anti-Christ, now and forever, in the name of Jesus.

THE WISDOM AND THE POWER OF GOD

There's a subtle dichotomy in the Christian faith. While some Christians tilt towards the wisdom of God, others tilt towards the power of God. Well, such things are not new even in the Bible. It happened in the Church of old. Some said they were for Paul...
