Bible Reading: Psalm 119:9 

Memory Verse: How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word. Psalm 119:9 (BSB)

A brother wrote: Some years ago, I heard the confession from a sister that shook me to my marrows. At a time, she was the closest person to me in this holy race. We went to several places together evangelizing, and following up converts. We’d real spiritual dealings together. But, we differed on marital relationship.

Every time I had prayed about her, God told me that her journey in life is not far. She had everything I hoped for in a sister. Our emotions grew so wildly, that it was by a drop of mercy we never had sex; we were close to it.

With a timely intervention of my discipler, we parted ways. I never saw her again. After many years, she had become a shadow of the gloriously vibrant  sister I used to know. Oh, she wept – as she told me what remained of her and her hubby. It was a long story. In short, she told me what I didn’t even know of her while we were together – that NO man will be close to her without having sex with her and once that is done, the man is finished.

He must lose something precious. Then I said, but I was very close to you. She replied, ‘Brother, there is something over you that you didn’t know. There is a glory over your head that preserved you. If you’d had SEX with me, you’d have lost it.’ Fear gripped me. I never knew I was in emotions with a glory-collector. I was blind! I would have been finished, when I should be furnished.

If you knew the GLORY you lost by that ‘casual sex’, you would weep. Where immorality comes in, glory steps out. They cannot dwell together, except if it is not God’s glory. Sex is NOT casual, it is spiritual! Don’t be a casualty of ‘glory-collectors’; be careful!

If you are married, stay faithful to your spouse. This thing called ‘adultery’ has finished many great men and women. And if you’re not married yet, stay true to God and your destiny. Don’t sell your life cheaply. One unguided sex can bring 30 years of struggle.

Quote: Casual Sex will finish your furnished destiny.

Prophetic Decree: Glory-Collectors shall not collect your glory, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus 

1. Thank you Father for the preservation of my destiny.

2. Holy Spirit, please redeem my soul from where I have sold it, in Jesus name.  

3. Anything I have lost to casual sex, be recovered by the mercies of God, in Jesus name.

4. Glory collectors disguised as friends in ministry, be exposed and be disgraced, in Jesus name.

5. Mercy of God, preserve the investment of grace upon my life, in Jesus name.
