Bible Reading: Exodus 33:13,18
Memory Verse: Then Moses said, “I pray that you will let me see you in all of your glory.” Exodus 33:18 (CEV)
God is more interested in getting you to be His friend. He prefers you be His friend than just solving your problems, because once you become His friend, all your problems are gone. Knowing only His acts is a low level of knowing God. He desires you know His ways.
A Christian is shallow:
9. When you only call on God when you are in trouble.
10. When you trust in your ability more than God.
11.When you depend on riches more than God.
12. When you love the blessings of God more than the presence of God.
13. When you claim to love God but do not allow Him to control your life.
14. When you pursue the voice of approval of men more than the praise of God.
15. When you avoid fasting and avoid sacrifice.
16. When you lack discipline, you drink or smoke.
17. When you find spiritual things very boring. You are in church and pressing your phone, something you cannot do in the presence of a President.
18. When you pick and choose the place in the Bible you want to believe and follow.
19. When what you believe is contradicting the Bible, and you do not care about God’s wisdom and guidance.
20. You partially obey God and resist change.
21. When you ignore the conviction of the Holy Spirit. You wake up, and He says, “You have not prayed or read your Bible; go back and do it.” But, you ignored it.
22. When you are comfortable living in habitual sin.
23. When you no longer hate sin with godly sorrow.
24. When you are spiritually blind. You cannot see, prophesy, or have divine dreams.
25. When you cannot share your faith with others or witness to others.
26. When you find evangelism irritating and inconvenient.
Quote: We’ve been called into intimacy in relationship with God. The greatest ability you possess in the grace of God is to be with Him, not heal the sick.
Prophetic Decree: Henceforth, you shall have an insatiable appetite for the presence of God, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father for calling me into a deeper walk with You.
2. I receive grace for self-denial and more intimate fellowship with you, in Jesus name.
3. Lord, help me to dwell daily in your presence, in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace to lay down my will and die to my flesh, in Jesus name.
5. I receive grace to hate sin with perfect hatred and love righteousness wholeheartedly, in Jesus name.
